How does the GOSAFE firearm lock work?

GOSAFE inserts into your firearm's magazine well and locks in place with a key. While installed, the firearm cannot accept a magazine and cannot fire. Only the keyholder can remove GOSAFE and make the weapon operational.
How long does it take to install and remove GOSAFE?
